Initially occupying a small residence in Edols Street Ballan from 1991-2003, the Ballan and District Community House is an active part of the newly renovated and transformed Ballan Mechanics Institute site in Steiglitz St.  Together the Institute and Community House comprise the Ballan & District Community Centre complex. 

It is a thriving and growing facility responding to community needs by providing a wholistic approach to lifelong learning. The Ballan & District Community House offers a range of diverse programs located in modern facilities.
